Couri’s Deception Continues

In a December 31, 2009 ruling, New York Supreme Court Justice Michael Stallman denied twice-convicted felon and pro se litigant James C. Couri's request to overturn the decision of the Appellate Division First Department that dismissed Jim  Couri’s $24M claim against John Siebert.  As a result, a desperate Jim Couri turned to the Internet to ratchet up his massive public deception in which he has portrayed himself as a consumer advocate (but with the interests of no one but his own in mind).

His main website, once the exclusive domain of personal attacks against the judges, lawyers, private citizens and a notary whom he claims have crossed him, now leads with random and unrelated “scams” and controversies.

DON’T be fooled by this clever ruse from a man who has made a career out of public deception and cheating the innocent. Mr. Couri continues to spew his cowardly venom on Twitter, and on another website he started to anonymously libel his adversaries, myself included. One of his recent Twitter posts reads as follows:

“JSC Michael Stallman burns the bible & the constitution in support of documented [in Couri’s mind alone] corruption. What happened to justice and honor?”

While at ScamSOS, Mr. Couri wrote,

“kenneth gomez esq internet stalker & pimp cintinues [sic] his extortion of jim couri & scamraiders.”

Personally, I would prefer to wash my hands of this despicable and dangerous man, but I feel obligated, as a 29-year member of the legal profession and a former District Attorney in two states, to ensure that Mr. Couri does not escape the punishment he so richly deserves, and thus far, through the filing hundreds of frivolous legal motions, has avoided.

My sincere hope is that when all is said and done, Mr. Couri will not have the means or motivation to scam another person, let alone tie up the New York courts with his fabricated drivel.
